Energy Consultant Graduate Program (Energy Analyst in Training)

Our energy management information system (www.arkEMIS.io or YouTube Video) harnesses Big Data to manage and reduce energy spend using advanced data analytics powered by AI and deep machine learning, live dashboards, and automated M&V, energy and ESG reporting

We are seeking highly motivated, resilient, and energetic graduates to join Ark Energy in an entry level (consultant in training) program. The program is 4-6 months and if successful will be offered an permanent job in business development, or as an energy analyst (for bachelors) and energy consultant (for post-grads)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support our Energy Consultants to carry out Energy Efficiency, RE, specialized technical consulting and management consulting projects
• Support our Digitalization Consultants to integrate our digital energy management information system
• Support business development activities in terms of market assessment, customer mapping, data capture, business case assessment, and proposal preparation
• Support consultants to deliver tasks related to active projects which can be technical or business oriented
• Develop and work with complex energy and financial models intended to validate the business case for any type energy projects using the Ark Energy suite of tools

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, CCE, or Industrial Engineering
• Master’s degree in engineering management or Energy Studies would be a plus
• Attitude and Chemistry: Exceptional character, interpersonal communication skills team player, with the right attitude, chemistry, and loyalty to our sole purpose with passion for energy efficiency and changing our world to be a better place
• Brain Power: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high stamina
• Time management: As value-consultants, our clients expect us to execute work professionally and on time. Working hours are around 45 hours weekly in our office in Beirut, or anywhere else depending on the type of project, incl. Dubai, KSA, Cairo, or Client’s sites, wherever they are
• Candidate has to be able to operate under pressure incl. working over the Weekends (while not expected but may be required to meet deadlines). Time management is paramount
• Good understanding of solar PV technology, building systems and design, as well as the different aspects of energy modelling and energy management is a BIG PLUS
• Knowledge of Homer, PVSketch, VRay, Skellion, or IES (Energy Modelling) is a PLUS
• Languages: perfect English (writing/speaking), Arabic (writing/speaking), French is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS
For candidates located in Beirut, mainly in head-office in Beirut (Antellias, A-Tower)
May be required to travel for site visits if deployed on a consulting project (project-based)
Working hours: 45+ hours per week with 30 minutes lunch break (get the job done in less)
