Ark Energy is looking for a seasoned Management Consultant (case manager) with a proven track record of more than 7+ years in the energy sector with a strategy consulting or big 4 for a 6-month project (extensible). The ideal candidate shall have experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance for utilities. This role requires a deep understanding of the energy industry, regulatory frameworks, and best practices in process optimization.

Core Responsibilities
• Lead strategic management consulting projects, focusing on policies and procedures within the energy sector
• Conduct in-depth analyses of existing policies and procedures to identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Design and implement new policies and procedures to support clients’ strategic goals and ensure regulatory compliance
• Advise clients on best practices and emerging trends in the energy sector
• Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance performance
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports to the client
• Mentor and guide other consultants, fostering their professional development
• Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date strategic advice

Qualifications And Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university
• More than 8 years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on the energy sector
• Proven track record in developing and implementing policies and procedures in the energy sector
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the energy industry
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse clients
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with energy management systems, building automation systems, and energy modelling software is a plus.
• Excellent skills in building PowerPoint presentation, Excel, and other quantitative analysis software (energy modelling is a plus)
• Time management: As value-consultants, our clients expect us to execute work professionally and on time. Working hours will vary based on deadlines and the firm’s requirements at client sites or in our offices in Beirut, or anywhere else depending on the type of project
• Candidate has to be able to operate under pressure incl. working during weekends and holidays. Time management is paramount
• Languages: perfect English (writing/speaking), Arabic (writing/speaking), French is a plus
