Ark Energy is looking for an experienced and results-driven Public Relations Officer (Female) to represent our organization in Baku, Azerbaijan. This role is designed for a professional who excels in managing relationships with key stakeholders, particularly government entities. The ideal candidate will work flexibly, without fixed hours, and will be evaluated based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

 

Core Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, officials, and regulatory authorities to facilitate communication and collaboration
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and government entities, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering partnerships
• Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and public image
• Prepare and disseminate high-quality press releases, speeches, and public statements tailored to government and institutional audiences
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives, community leaders, and private sector partners
• Represent the company at public events, official meetings, and conferences, ensuring professionalism and alignment with the company’s objectives
• Handle sensitive issues and crises professionally, mitigating risks to the company’s reputation
• Develop and oversee communications plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing regular reports to senior management
• Track PR and government engagement performance against KPIs, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in public relations, with a strong focus on working with government entities
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in Azerbaijani and English. Russian proficiency is an advantage
• Strong understanding of government processes, protocols, and key stakeholders in Azerbaijan
• Ability to draft, edit, and present high-quality written and verbal communications
• Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in using social media, PR tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
