Post-retrofit execution, Low Delta-T penalties persisted, unveiling a nuanced problem. Mechanically sophisticated buildings often lack a one-size-fits-all solution. The remedy necessitated fine-tuning guided by granular data.
Precision Monitoring: BTU Meter, PICVs, and Chilled Water Pumps
Our monitoring strategy revolves around the BTU submeters, Primary Chilled Water Pumps, and the unsung heroes, Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs). These components play a crucial role in maintaining energy flow and detecting anomalies. PICVs, in particular, ensure consistent comfort and act as sentinels for system performance.
Significance of PICV Monitoring
PICVs, as critical components, play a pivotal role in maintaining a consistent and comfortable indoor environment. Weekly Monitoring Process
Recognizing the dynamic nature of delta T drivers, our team devised a systematic monitoring process. Weekly evaluations of problematic PICVs, based on delta T and flow data, were integrated into arkEMIS. This information was transformed into comprehensive dashboards for all relevant accounts.

Since implementing our platform and monitoring process, INDEX Tower witnessed a marked improvement in overall delta T. Our calculated and tracked delta T over time showcased significant progress over the past three months.
