Ark Energy is seeking to hire an experienced, ambitious, and resourceful People & Culture Officer to join our growing and dynamic team
 


 

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures in line with company objectives

  • Manage resource recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, career events, interviewing, aonboardinging

  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching

  • Develop and implement a suitable wellness program that fits our consulting environment and surrounding in-country social conditions

  • Develop and implement a performance-boosting program that fits our environment, along with a monitoring and evaluation mechanism

  • Handle employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws

  • Develop and implement training and career development programs

  • Develop a  framework for succession planning

  • Monitor and analyze employee data to identify trends and recommend solutions

  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration

  • Participate in corporate strategic planning and budgeting including resource planning

  • Encourage and coordinate team bonding and other social activities and events within the company

  • Provide employee’s one-on-one private counseling to improve productivity through wellness strategies


 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor (Master’s is a plus) in Psychology, Public Administration, Business Administration or Human Resources

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in HR

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with particular attention to the psychology of high-performing teams

  • Proven track record in top talent attraction and retention, including career management and recruitment process, succession planning, and training

  • Languages: perfect English (writing/speaking), Arabic (speaking/writing) and French is a plus (speaking/writing)

Candidate shall report directly to the  CEO

Working Conditions

  • Mainly in the head office in A-Tower Antellias
  • May be required to travel for site visits
