We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and detail-oriented Customer Solution Consultant to support our business growth by leading proposal development and driving lead generation efforts within the MEA region. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a knack for understanding client needs, crafting compelling proposals, and connecting with prospective clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Respond to client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by preparing and submitting tailored, high-quality proposals
  • Collaborate with internal energy consultants and technical experts to build compelling business cases and preliminary assessments for proposals
  • Continuously improve proposal tools and templates to increase win rates based on past outcomes and feedback
  • Identify potential clients and opportunities by conducting market research, client mapping, segmentation, and prioritization using Ark Energy’s tools
  • Proactively connect with leads to introduce Ark Energy’s consulting services and digital solutions (e.g., arkEMIS)
  • Qualify new opportunities through research and collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., CEO, CSO, consultants)
  • Maintain and manage the CRM system and business development pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups with leads and prospects
  • Register Ark Energy as a qualified supplier on client platforms to access RFPs
  • Conduct research on competitors and potential suppliers to gather market insights
  • Collaborate with the content management team to effectively promote Ark Energy services on social media and digital platforms
  • Assist in preparing marketing and communication materials, including newsletters, case studies, and insights, to enhance brand visibility
  • Analyze client feedback (Voice of the Customer) to suggest strategic improvements in pricing, product offerings, and positioning
  • Develop and refine Ark Energy’s marketing strategy to strengthen its market position.
  • Contribute to global sales channels for Ark Energy’s digital platform (arkEMIS)
  • Identify opportunities for additional work within existing accounts and support account managers with relevant insights

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related fields
  • A master’s degree (e.g., Engineering Management, MBA, Energy Studies) is a PLUS
  • 1 to 3 years in B2B industrial sales, digital sales, energy or renewable energy industry or Sustainability & Environmental Industry
  • Willing to go beyond the “minimum”, incl. working outside business hours, weekends to win projects
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and generate business in the digitalization or consulting industry in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Go-getter attitude, thriving on success and winning, and aggressive to get the job done
  • Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
  • Proficiency with MS office
  • Experience in Power BI is a PLUS
  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Business Administration
  • Master of Engineering Management, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science (Economics, Energy Studies) is a PLUS
  • Time management: As value-consultants, our clients expect us to execute work professionally and on time. Working hours are around 45 hours weekly in our office in Beirut, or anywhere else depending on the type of project, incl. Dubai, KSA, Cairo, or Client's sites, wherever they are
  • Candidate has to be able to operate under pressure incl. working over the Weekends (while not expected but may be required to meet deadlines). Time management is paramount
  • Good understanding of solar PV technology, building systems and design, as well as the different aspects of energy modelling and energy management is a BIG PLUS
  • Knowledge of Homer, PVSketch, VRay, Skellion, or IES (Energy Modelling) is a PLUS
  • Languages: perfect English (writing/speaking), Arabic (writing/speaking), French is a plus

Working Conditions

  • Mainly in head office in Beirut (Antellias, A-Tower)
  • May be required to travel for site visits if deployed on a consulting project (project-based)
  • Working hours: expectation is a min. of 45 hours per week with 30 minutes lunch break, however, as part of the BD team, you own your own time, your KPIs are the ones that drive your working hours
