Ark Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Consultant to drive growth and expand our client base in energy efficiency, digitalization, and decarbonization solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of B2B sales and consulting, with a focus on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving business success.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand Ark Energy's market presence
Identify and target key industries, markets, and customer segments for energy efficiency and digitalization solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster trust and collaboration
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in the energy and sustainability sectors
Present tailored solutions to potential clients that align with their decarbonization and digitalization goals
Collaborate with the sales team to create campaigns that support lead generation and client acquisition
Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and Ark Energy
Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to align offerings with market demands
Represent Ark Energy at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network
Maintain accurate client and opportunity information in the CRM system, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up
Track and report on key performance indicators, including revenue growth, client acquisition, and retention metrics
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
2 to 7 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, consulting, energy, renewable energy, or sustainability industries
Proven ability to build rapport and close deals in the energy or consulting sectors
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong business acumen
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of energy efficiency, digitalization, and decarbonization trends
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as needed
