Ark Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Consultant to drive growth and expand our client base in energy efficiency, digitalization, and decarbonization solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of B2B sales and consulting, with a focus on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving business success.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand Ark Energy's market presence
  • Identify and target key industries, markets, and customer segments for energy efficiency and digitalization solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster trust and collaboration
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities in the energy and sustainability sectors
  • Present tailored solutions to potential clients that align with their decarbonization and digitalization goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create campaigns that support lead generation and client acquisition
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and Ark Energy
  • Provide insights and feedback to the product development team to align offerings with market demands
  • Represent Ark Energy at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network
  • Maintain accurate client and opportunity information in the CRM system, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including revenue growth, client acquisition, and retention metrics

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, consulting, energy, renewable energy, or sustainability industries
  • Proven ability to build rapport and close deals in the energy or consulting sectors
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong business acumen
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, digitalization, and decarbonization trends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as needed

Fit within Ark Energy

  • Candidate shall report directly to CEO or CSO and work closely with the energy consulting team
