Clients often experience a 10% to 15% loss in projected energy savings annually after Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) hand over the project, mainly due to inefficiencies outside the ESCO’s scope. To prevent savings erosion, optimize performance, and ensure continuous energy monitoring, the client sought Ark Energy’s expertise in implementing a third-party M&V (Measurement & Verification) audit and deploying a real-time energy monitoring platform.ProblemsKey concerns that impacted post-retrofit efficiency included:•Aging and inaccurate metering infrastructure requiring replacement to enable precise energy tracking.
